    Air
    1. Crimson Rain
      Description: The caster concentrates a great deal of their energies on preexisting clouds, corrupting the water contained therein whilst simultaneously expediting its rate of moisture acquisition. The greater the ambient moisture already in the atmosphere, the more quickly the spell takes effect. The end result is a short-lived downpour of red rain across the caster's general vicinity. The foul smelling substance is highly caustic and quite toxic, causing burns on exposed flesh and possible blood poisoning if not neutralized quickly upon contact.
    2. Judgment
      Description: This spell comes in two varieties depending upon incantations and gestures used. In the first, a stream of electricity leaps from the caster's fingertips to the target or target(s), allowing for very precise control of voltage and amperage. The second is less controlled but undoubtedly far more powerful. Raising their hands, the user calls down lightning strikes all throughout their general area that then diffuse on impact, as is normal in nature, causing great harm even to those that avoid a direct strike.

    1. Bombardment
      Description: An extremely powerful spell that consumes a large amount of magic and forces the caster to spend time recuperating after use. Burning chunks of rock and ice containing a mixture of different minerals and metals come crashing down from above on a designated area. These projectiles move at alarmingly high speeds and thus release tremendous energy on impact.
    2. Earthen Spike
      Description: The spellcaster speaks an incantation or gestures with their hands, causing large rocky spikes to erupt from the ground at indicated locations. Composition and therefore durability varies according to mineral deposits available in a given area. These spikes have a tendency to badly damage victims' armor even if they fail to penetrate.

    1. Hellfire
      Description: The caster forms up to four fist-sized balls of flame and launches them at a target. The individual projectiles yield little explosive force, but they do blaze with unimaginable heat. The spellcaster may go one step further by combining these projectiles into larger, more powerful fireballs capable of causing much greater damage. Combining two triples the heat and explosive force of the resulting projectile, while adding three drastically expands its area of effect. Adding a fourth quadruples all quantifiable parameters and greatly increases the spell's effective range.
    2. Hellfire Inferno
      Description: Intense flames are called to surround the caster, shaped into a sphere, and given rotation to reinforce control. It can serve either as a shield or an attack, with the latter usage involving releasing the magic binding the fire to the shape of a sphere and allowing it to expand, consuming everything in the caster's surroundings in a smoldering inferno.
    3. Hellfire Stream
      Description: The caster looses a dense stream of fire from an outstretched digit at a target within visual range. It may be widened at the expense of much of its range or narrowed into a concentrated beam capable of burning its way deep inside the target even from great distance.

    1. Inspire Hatred
      Description: The caster laces their very words with potent magics designed to inspire enmity in all who hear them. Depending on phrasing and intention, it is possible to turn the best of friends to bitter rivals or happy lovers into mortal enemies. The spell's duration can be temporary or permanent depending upon how well the caster's own manipulations compliment the effect.

    1. Unbridled Fury
      Description: The caster produces a single red sphere which is then allowed to expand until it encompasses a target area of no more than 20 ft. in diameter. It lives as but a flash, but the effect on anyone that sees the burst of red light is immediate and very noticeable. Individuals upon whom the spell has taken effect begin to lash out violently at any living creature within reach, uncaring as to their victims' identities or even possible familial ties.

    1. Blood Messiah
      Description: A portion of the spellcaster's own life essence is sacrificed to temporarily increase all physical and mental parameters. Once activated, the user gains a faint red outline around their body that expands and contracts—almost imperceptibly—in rhythm with their beating heart. Vampires, lacking life to sacrifice, instead burn through their supply of blood at an accelerated rate. Also unique to vampires is the ability to quickly absorb any blood they spill while in this state merely by being in close proximity to it.

    1. Drain Life
      Description: A tether of putrid green energy leaps from the caster's fingertips to a nearby target. If it strikes, the victim will feel a chill reaching to their bones as the heat and life are leeched from their body. Targets of this spell may feel a great sense of dread and weakness as it takes hold, worsening as the caster continues to channel it. Victims slowly decay as if by negative energy when affected by Drain Life, though it cannot kill them except for in cases of prolonged exposure. Any damage it causes is returned to the caster as healing.
    2. Soul Harvest
      Description: The souls of weak creatures within 20 ft. of the caster are torn from their bodies and absorbed into them to heal wounds and restore lost strength. Stronger entities in range of the spell instead feel a great wracking pain throughout their bodies, as if their souls had been struck through with many sharp implements. In the latter case, healing received corresponds to the amount of harm caused rather than directly absorbing the soul.

    Conjuration
    1. Infernal Bond
      Description: Despite its name, this spell does not bind its caster to the infernal. It instead allows one to summon fiends—demons, devils, and the like—to the material plane by bonding them to sufficiently intact corpses. Weaker fiends may be called fairly quickly, but more powerful specimens do require a relatively lengthy ritual in order to be kept under control. Beings summoned in this way may be made into permanent familiars if given live sacrifices to possess instead.

    Teleportation
    1. Ethereal Jaunt
      Description: The user momentarily shifts themselves and anyone touching them into the ethereal plane, where time and distance have little meaning. This allows individuals to then relocate themselves unopposed, returning to the prime material plane once satisfied with their new location. Variances in distance between the ethereal and prime material planes make this an excellent option for stealthily crossing medium distances very quickly.
    2. Translocate
      Description: The caster vanishes in a pillar of bright light only to reappear at another location almost immediately. The spell may be used for short range teleportation, in which case it requires very little effort, or to cross great distances, requiring considerable concentration and a much greater investment of time and energy.

    Absorption
    1. Barrier
      Description: The caster generates a rounded barrier in front of themselves with the intended effect of absorbing part or all of the hostile energy directed against them. Weaker directed effects are likely to strike its rounded surface and bounce away in a random direction, while more powerful ones are instead absorbed and funneled to the caster in the form of additional magical power to be used at their whim. If broken, the shield cannot be reformed for several seconds.
    2. Consume Magic
      Description: The caster attempts to eat a spell or effect; either active on an individual or in the midst of being cast. If the former, the target loses at least one beneficial effect that had been cast upon themselves; the latter instead interrupts spell casting and steals whatever energy the opposed spellcaster had already amassed toward completing their spell. Enchanted objects may have their magic consumed as well, but permanent effects will eventually return.

    Projection
    1. Aether Pistol
      Description: The caster holds out one hand with index finger extended, thumb raised, and the other three curled back as if making a fist. Magic of every element swirls together outstretched fingertip before combining into its pure, unaltered form and condensing down into a small point. Lowering the thumb releases the collected energy as a small projectile capable of causing damage comparable to a shot from a flintlock pistol, though its lack of physical substance means no debris will be left behind.

    1. Arcane Sight
      Description: The user endows themselves with the ability to see through to the workings of any spell or magical effect they come into contact with. The sight in essence functions as a sort of extremely detailed true sight, at least with regards to spellwork. Whether or not an individual can decipher what they see, however, is a matter of personal skill. Activation of this spell is denoted by a set of mirrored sigils appearing in one or both of the user's irises
    2. Trace
      Description: A small object—usually a coin—is layered with a latticework of magic that together permits the spellcaster to locate the item almost at will later on. Such objects are typically planted on persons of interest or slipped into one's belongings to help locate thieves. By far the most useful property of this spell is its ability to serve as a target for other spells or devices which permit remote viewing.

    Enchantment
    1. Charm
      Description: Requires eye contact. Victims of the spell are totally robbed of their free will for a span of time not exceeding one minute, wherein they operate as little more than an automaton under the caster's control. They may be issued commands mentally or verbally and will follow them without protest, even should their orders result in minor self-harm. Severe damage may jolt the victim back to their senses and end the spell prematurely.
    2. Geas
      Description: The caster's words become laced with magic. A single hearer selected at the time the spell is cast takes to heart one command of the caster's choosing which they cannot defy without considerable consequence. The compulsion lasts for one year and a day, and does possess the ability to drive its victims to perform tasks that would otherwise be outside the boundaries of their normal behaviors—they could even be compelled to engage in activities that lead to death, though such commands can be resisted for a time.

    1. Summon Household
      Description: The caster calls out to various animals and otherworldly entities associated with the night, most often entreating them into service either through bargaining, forcing their actions via magic, or (in the case of Attilius) utilizing some manner of natural gift to gain favor or a measure of control. Some examples of creatures called by this spell include: rats, mice, owls, bats, centipedes, spiders, mosquitoes, wolves, and other various other typically nocturnal creatures.

    Growth
    1. Warpwood Treant
      Description: The caster places their palm against the trunk of a large tree. After several seconds the outer trunk will separate, exposing the underlying heartwood to the spell's user. This then allows a direct transfer of the same warped energies permeating the undead to be infused into to the still-living tree, whereupon it begins to twist and mutate from the inside out. The process ultimately results in an entity possessed of savage intellect and nightmarish form. The treant's mere touch causes decay, its presence serving to accelerate and pervert the cycle of birth, death, and return to which all living things are inexorably bound. These creatures are not especially devoted to their creators—they possess a will of their own—but do perceive their maker's words and actions in a most favorable light.

    1. Blood Whip
      Description: A portion of the caster's blood is converted into a whip of roughly ten feet in length. The weapon is in all way similar to its normal counterparts, save that it absorbs the blood of its victims as it cuts into them. A small portion is transferred back to the wielder, but most is used to reinforce the blood whip itself.

    1. Dissolution
      Description: The caster fires a ray from one outstretched finger that quickly arcs toward a target in visual range. On impact, the magic attempts to diffuse throughout the person or object's physical form and cause disruption of molecular bonds of a catastrophic level. Ideally the spell would split victims apart into the various chemical elements that comprise their entirety, but improper management could easily lead to complete destruction of atomic structure and subsequent reduction to particulate matter instead. Organic substances, often being very complex, are much more difficult to deconstruct.

    Awareness
    1. Attunement
      Description: A passive effect that remains with the user permanently after being activated the first time. The spellcaster becomes attuned to time in such a way that they are intrinsically aware of its passage and any alterations to it that may occur in their vicinity. No matter the time altering spell or ability used, the beneficiary of this effect retains awareness, though they have no special protections from time being tampered with.

    Control
    1. Clotho's Blessing
      Description: The caster's own frame of time is accelerated several times over. This could perceived by others as horrifically augmented speed—a common mistake—or, in the case of fellow magic users, as the complete affront to nature that it is. Clotho's Blessing allows one to cross vast distances seemingly in the blink of an eye, take multiple actions in a round (including casting other spells), and appear as if they are in multiple places at once. Any spell cast while under the effects of Clotho's Blessing results in violent backlash to the caster, however—their body begins to visibly decay as the spell's energies start to warp and time seeks its due.
    2. Temporal Lapse
      Description: The caster selects up to five creatures or objects within their visual range to have their trek through time significantly slowed. The flow of time for these targets is halved; their senses, actions, and the effects of any injuries they may have sustained are all slowed thusly.
    3. Temporal Stasis
      Description: Up to four targets within sight of the spellcaster are imprisoned in what amounts to a cage of time. The effect presents first as a ring of floating symbols and mathematical formulae around the target or targets, after which bubbles spontaneously manifest inside the rings—around the victims—and raise them a few feet above the ground. Targets of this spell may retain some vague awareness of their situation, but the ability to process information is completely halted. Removed from time, they are essentially in a state of "pause" until the spell is broken or its effect expires.
